After much deliberation and planning, we are pleased to be able to finally anounce the full line-up for FatCat's sixth Open Circuit event, which takes place next month in Hasselt, Belgium. Headed up by our old friends Animal Collective, the bill also includes current FatCat faves Frightened Rabbit, David Karsten Daniels, Tom Brosseau, and only the second ever European appearance from Our Brother The Native, who return to the event they first met each other at a few years ago when they were still barely 17! On top of this, the show will include the first ever live show of future FatCat signing Get Back Guinozzi from France, plus Estonian folk artist Kago, who appears on our demo archive; Matthew Bower's Sunroof!, which features on the new Split Series 12" (also out next month), old friend and Danish genius Goodiepal, and a set from Bee Xlaura, Kristina Valtyrsdottir (ex of mum)'s new project and to open the festival some brain-cushioning goo with that classic aircraft-hangar-filled-with-white-light feel from Starving Weirdos.
As a break from the last couple of years of FatCat shows there, the event will this year occupy just one day, Saturday 20th September, running from 2pm until 2am the following morning. It will also take place in a new venue - the fantastic Koloniale Waren, a multi-spaced old 1920s factory building.
